Majoring in Journalism, with a minor in theatre, Addison
McKissack aspires to one day make it to New York City and live her dream as a
theatre writer.
Hailing from Plano, Texas, McKissack is the youngest of three girls and a sophomore at Texas State University. Before arriving at Texas State for the 2016 Fall season, McKissack attended Plano West Senior high school where she was voted thespian of the year by her peers and was invited to be a part of the International Thespian Society.

McKissack is a member and historian for the Alpha Delta Pi
sorority.
McKissack, is the proud parent of two Labradors, Sperry the
white lab and Soco, a silver lab. When she’s not busy with school or being a
dog mother, the sophomore enjoys attending various theatre shows and posting on
her theatre blog. Talented on several fronts, McKissack spent nine years
