Carlos Mercado is currently junior at Texas State University who is pursuing a degree in Electronic Media. After graduating from Veterans Memorial High School in 2015, Carlos chose Texas State as his home for the next four years. 

During the beginning of his time at Texas State, Carlos found his passion in the school of Mass Communication, more specifically within Electronic media. He is currently employed at Olive Garden as a server, which teaches him the discipline and time management needed to grow before heading out for a full-time career after college. With this degree in electronic media, he aspires to become a reporter for ESPN and share his input with the world and inspire others.
