"Germany, I've actually been before and I wanted to go to college there but then once I got out of high school it didn't work out."

On why she'd choose to study in Germany.

"Family heritage, we're from there so I'm really interested in it."

On the potential downside of travel abroad programs.

"I guess just being somewhere different, depending on where you are can be dangerous for an American somewhere."

On how Texas State could do a better job getting study abroad information out to students.

"I know there's information out there, I've had emails sent to me so I guess more personal in a way cause I mean it's just emails they're sending. I haven't had anyone really talk to me about it, maybe like a seminar or something."

"I know for theater majors we're going to London but I would kind of like to go somewhere a little more exotic, I just don't know, maybe South America."

On her involvement in any internships or study abroad programs.

"No, but I plan to do internships this summer."

"Possibly, but all the programs I've seen don't really apply to my major or something along those lines."

Peebus on what she'd like offered as a program.

"A lot of the art ones aren't specific to photography and I know it'd probably be difficult to get one specific to that but it would be nice."

On the difficulty of spreading the word about.

"It's difficult cause they could totally give handouts but people usually ignore those, like when people stand in the quad. I think it's completely up to the person if they're interested in it, to find it on their own."

On the benefits of study abroad.

"Just experiencing the way people interact in different cultures, and I think its the Sapir–Whorf hypothesis that says you can't learn things outside of your own language and your own culture, so I mean not only do you learn new cultural things but you can expand how much you can learn about your own."
